FleetOps is a live fleet tracking web app. It shows vehicle positions on a map and lets an operator choose which vehicles to display, inspect one, and reach its driver.

Two ways in. Either way the account must already exist in the system and hold a permission.
If the number is unknown or has no permission, an error is shown and no code is sent.
Press Sign in with Google and pick an account. That account's email address must be registered in the system.
The switch at the bottom of the sign-in screen moves between Hebrew and English before you sign in. The choice is remembered.
The link at the bottom of the sign-in screen opens this guide without an account. The guide carries its own language switch in the header.
Only relevant when your account belongs to more than one client. With a single client it is selected for you and you go straight to the map.
A suspended client carries a red tag. You can still select it, but you will land on a screen explaining the account is suspended.
The Settings tab shows the current client in its top row. Clicking it returns to the picker.
The map shows only the vehicles you chose to display. An empty map on sign-in is normal — pick what to show.
The color of the map icon and of the dot in the list both mean the vehicle's current state.
The ring around the icon rotates to the direction of travel, derived from the previous position and the current one.
The selected vehicle lands slightly below the middle of the screen on purpose, so the detail card that opens above it has room.
When many vehicles sit too close together at the current zoom, they are drawn as one green circle with a count instead of separate icons. Clustering exists for a crowded map only, so three conditions switch it off.
Clicking a circle zooms in and breaks it apart. Clustering can also be turned off entirely in Settings — with many vehicles on screen, turning it off will slow the map down.
The plate number is drawn above each vehicle, at every zoom level. There is no zoom threshold and no cap on how many vehicles carry one — if the setting is on, every icon shows its plate. They can be turned off in Settings.
City, street and place names on the map follow the app language. Switching language in Settings switches them too, with no page reload.
There are no zoom buttons on the map. They were removed to free up map area, and every action is available as a gesture.
The main tab in the drawer. This is where you choose what the map shows.
The search field at the top of the tab finds a vehicle by plate number. Picking a result puts it on the map and flies to it.
Only vehicles with a usable location are offered, because only those can be displayed.
The row with the eye icon shows how many vehicles are displayed out of how many can be. For example 12/40 means twelve vehicles on the map out of forty available.
A dimmed button has nothing to do: Show all when everything is already shown, Clear map when the map is empty.
Three buttons above Show all: driving, idling and parked. Pressing one puts every vehicle currently in that state on the map; pressing it again takes them off.
A vehicle you added by hand stays on the map even if it does not match the status. A vehicle you hid with the eye that does match will return at the next check, because the filter still selects it. Show all and Clear map both switch the filter off.
A green open eye means displayed on the map. A grey crossed eye means hidden. The number beside a site counts all of its vehicles, including ones with no usable location, so it can be larger than the number the eye will actually put on the map.
Settings can switch between the site tree and a flat list of every vehicle, sorted by number. The flat list has no site rows, so it carries no site counter and no site-level eye — every row is a vehicle.
Clicking the row itself, rather than the eye icon, does three things at once: selects the vehicle, adds it to the map if it was not there, and flies to it at close zoom. On mobile the drawer collapses so the map is visible.
A dimmed row with a crossed map-pin instead of an eye is a vehicle with no usable location. It cannot be clicked or put on the map, because there is nowhere to draw it.
The same structure as the Vehicles tab, but each site lists the users assigned to it along with their phone numbers instead of vehicles. The tree-or-list setting applies here too.
The refresh button at the top of the tab pulls the user list from the server again. Useful after a user was added or changed elsewhere.
Preferences are stored in your browser and survive closing and reopening the app.
The version number sits at the bottom of the tab. Worth quoting when reporting a problem.
On a phone the drawer appears as a sheet at the bottom of the screen instead of a side panel. The handle at the top of the sheet answers to three different gestures.
When closed, a narrow strip with the handle and the tabs stays visible. Selecting a vehicle from the list closes the sheet automatically to free up the map.
That is the starting state. The map shows only the vehicles you pick. Press Show all in the Vehicles tab, or select a site or a vehicle with the eye icon.
Two possibilities. Either it was not selected for display, in which case its eye icon in the list is grey, or no usable location was received from it, in which case its row is dimmed and shows a crossed map-pin. The second case cannot be fixed from the app — the vehicle is not reporting.
No usable location was received, so there is nowhere to draw it. The row is disabled on purpose, so you cannot select a vehicle that would never appear.
Grey means no engine and speed reading arrived. If the position did arrive, the vehicle is drawn on the map in grey. They are two separate pieces of data.
The engine is running but the vehicle is not moving — waiting, loading, or standing with the engine on.
At least thirty vehicles are too close together at this zoom and were grouped. The number is how many are in the group. Click it to zoom in and break it apart, or turn clustering off in Settings. With fewer than seventy vehicles displayed in total, clustering never happens at all.
Because pressing it would change nothing. Show all dims once every available vehicle is displayed; Clear map dims when the map is already empty.
Click the vehicle on the map, then the phone number in the detail card. Your device opens the dialer. The number is shown in local format but dialled in international format, so it works from abroad too.
The app shows the site your account is attached to and the sites beneath it. If vehicles are missing, your permission or site assignment needs updating by a system administrator.
Positions update on their own continuously; there is no need to reload the page. The refresh button in the Users tab refreshes the user list only, not the vehicles.
Yes. Language, theme, list view, clustering and plate labels are stored in the browser. The set of vehicles you put on the map and the status filter are not stored and reset on every sign-in.
They were removed on purpose to free up map area. Zoom with a two-finger pinch or the scroll wheel, and pan by dragging with one finger.
That is intended. Selecting a vehicle centres it and zooms in, and places it slightly below the middle so the detail card opening above it has room.
In the Vehicles tab, above Show all, press Driving. Every vehicle moving at that moment goes on the map, and the list keeps itself up to date every thirty seconds. Press it again to switch it off.
Because a status filter is on and the vehicle matches it. The filter re-checks itself every thirty seconds and puts back everything that matches. To keep it hidden, switch that status button off.
Yes. In the Settings tab, on the List view row, choose Flat. Every vehicle appears in one sorted list with no site grouping. The choice is stored in the browser.
Yes. The sign-in screen has a link to the guide at the bottom, and it opens without an account. Switching language works there too, from the switch in the header.
Just sign in again. A session stays valid until six in the morning the following day, after which a fresh sign-in is required.
